Glazing Technician

We are seeking an experienced Glazier to join our team at Nationwide Specialist Services. This role involves working in teams on reactive and planned glazing jobs, making safe damaged units/panes, and replacing them at a later stage. The ideal candidate will have commercial experience with glazing and the ability to measure large retail and commercial glazing using the Merlin tool.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reading O&M information to determine glazing profiles and structures, dealing with suppliers to order glazing units/panes, and coordinating specialist equipment suppliers. They will also need to support other tradesmen when glazing jobs are not available and have good communication and customer service skills.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience. Benefits include fully equipped vehicle with fuel card, overtime at time and half, all equipment provided, and full issue of PPE. The requirements for this role include being flexible with working hours, having a good driving license, and an appetite for heights. While IPAF, CSCS labourer, PASMA, and first aid qualifications are not essential, they would be advantageous.
