At Specsavers Nottingham our Laboratory Technicians use the latest state of the art MEI lens edger (if necessary, training provided), and NIDEK desktop edgers, allowing them to maintain high standards in assembling glasses to maximise our customers satisfaction, while keeping the work process flawless and smooth.

You will be part of a team responsible for assembling and preparing customer’s glasses orders to the highest standard and be confident with the following responsibilities: (if necessary, training provided),

Accurately reading lens and frame specifications from provided prescriptions
- Edging and glazing lenses into frames ensuring attention to detail at all times
- Complete necessary minor repairs and adjustments
- Tinting lenses
- Working towards agreed timeframes to meet customer expectations and needs
