Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering key water infrastructure projects with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and sustainability.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, manage schedules, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring engineering activities are executed to the highest standards and comply with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
  • Ensure all project activities meet quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with the project.
  • Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
  • Ensure project activities are conducted with minimal environmental impact.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in an engineering or a related field (water treatment being highly beneficial).
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate complex project activities.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, project management software, and engineering design processes.
  • Experience and capability in either mechanical or electrical engineering within the water sector (desirable).
