Nursery Teacher Job Description

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Teacher to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy but happy and friendly setting where children enjoy learning.

The successful applicant will be responsible for motivating and stimulating a child's learning abilities, providing pastoral care and support to children within a secure learning environment, and assisting with the development of a child's personal, social, language and physical coordination abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a QTS, experience teaching in Early Years, and a passion for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment. In return, Protocol Education offers ongoing CPD, competitive rates of pay, and professional support from our team of experienced consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support children in a nursery setting
  • Develop and produce visual aids and teaching resources
  • Encourage mathematical and creative development through stories, songs, games, drawing and imaginative play
  • Work with others to plan and coordinate work both indoors and outdoors
