About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our team on a supply basis. As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children in our nursery setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging activities that promote learning and development.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and provide pastoral support to children when required, fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing feedback on children's progress and achievements.
  • Assist with the preparation of resources and materials for lessons.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant/Early Years qualification or equivalent is desirable.
  • Previous experience working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support children's learning and well-being.
