Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer/Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine servicing and attending breakdowns to identify faults and problem-solve at the press with minimal downtime.
  • Reporting breakdown root causes, equipment faults, and concerns to management.
  • Ensuring all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations.
  • Ensuring company targets are met in respect of quality of parts produced.
  • Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on mould injection machinery and robotic machinery.
  • Testing and confirming electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic operations of mould injection machines.
  • Ensuring risk assessments are available, read, and understood for each activity undertaken.
  • Undertaking special projects as required.
  • Conducting quality control of work by appropriate reviews.
Working Hours

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts of 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have:

  • A recognised Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or similar).
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably with injection moulding machinery.
