Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Halton Recovery Team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and therapeutic interventions to service users with complex psychological presentations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and therapeutic interventions to service users with complex psychological presentations.
  • Work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic care and therapies to individuals with complex mental health difficulties.
  • Develop and implement plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of clients' complex mental health problems.
  • Ensure comprehensive risk assessments are carried out in line with Mental Health Care Division policy.
  • Act as care coordinator, where appropriate, taking responsibility for initiating planning and review of care plans under enhanced CPA.

Requirements
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology as accredited by the BPS.
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by the UKCP, and/or NMC or other professional bodies.
  • At least 4 years' experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients with SU across a range of care settings.
