SEND Learning Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team of educators. As a key member of the student support department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of students with diverse needs. You will be expected to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized plans that meet the unique requirements of each student.
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized support to students with SEN, including those with SEMH needs
Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver lessons, as well as provide one-to-one tuition and small group support
Contribute to the development of a positive school culture by promoting independence, self-esteem, and confidence among students
Requirements:
Experience of working with students with SEN, particularly SEMH
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
Ability to engage with and inspire young learners
