Job Overview
As an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Design Engineer at oilandgas, you will play a critical role in the development of high-speed permanent magnet alternators and motors. Collaborating closely with Senior Engineers, you will lead electromagnetic design for assigned projects, utilizing both in-house and commercial design software for lumped parameter calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity to join our team as an EMC Design Engineer, where you will work on complex projects involving high-speed electrical systems. You will perform electromagnetic design analyses and calculations, prepare and deliver analysis results to large audiences, and collaborate with the Engineering Team to achieve internal cost targets and establish cost objectives.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
* Performing electromagnetic design analyses and calculations
* Preparing and delivering analysis results to large audiences
* Collaborating with the Engineering Team to achieve internal cost targets and establish cost objectives
* Adhering to project schedules and meeting deadlines
* Coordinating technical design efforts with other resources, including Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and integrated product teams
* Generating comprehensive design and analysis reports

Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electromagnetic Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in electrical engineering) and experience with FEA and EMAG design analysis. A strong understanding of electromagnetic design principles and practices is essential for this role.
