Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Poole, with a competitive salary of up to £45,000pa.

About the Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in optimising production processes, improving quality and efficiency throughout the manufacturing cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee new product introduction, establishing efficient production methods and providing guidance to design and production teams.
  • Implement structured problem-solving techniques to resolve production-related challenges.
  • Train and mentor operators on production procedures and best practices.
  • Actively participate in Health and Safety initiatives.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis efforts to identify and address underlying issues.
  • Identify and implement advanced manufacturing techniques.
  • Analyse and plan workflow, space utilisation, and equipment placement to optimise manufacturing efficiency.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs to ensure production equipment remains operational.
  • Provide Design for Manufacturing (DfM) advice to the Engineering team.
Requirements
  • Experience with modern manufacturing processes.
  • Able to demonstrate achievements of improving processes and quality within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks would be beneficial.
