About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Maternity Support Worker to join our multidisciplinary team at St Helier Maternity. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and support to women and their families during their maternity journey.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of delivery rooms and wards
  • Support women with the care of their babies and assist with infant feeding
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient environment in theatre
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide excellent client-focused care
Requirements
  • Literate and numerate to GCSE/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • NHS experience or similar
  • Able to maintain safety whilst using equipment
  • Experience in the caring profession
