Industry Placements is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Process Planning Professional to join their team at BMW UK, Oxford. This 13-month placement offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Assembly Process Planning team in Plant Oxford. Key responsibilities include:

  • Servicing New Vehicle Launches: Assisting with vehicle series production and its advancement, as well as running changes to relevant processes and planning necessary tooling.
  • Process Planning: Supporting planners' projects and ensuring coordination of assembly.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Engineering or Business-Management Background: Studying towards a bachelor's degree in an engineering or business-management subject is essential.
  • Strong Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of technical concepts and processes.
  • Project Management Skills: Aptitude for detailed project management and structured working.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate fluently in English and basic German language skills are advantageous.
