Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handy Person to maintain the upkeep of our care home. As a Handy Person, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, decorating, and general upkeep of the building and its surroundings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the upkeep of the care home, including repairs, decorating, and general upkeep of the building and its surroundings.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including checking and maintaining heating and lighting systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Ensure the care home is safe and secure for residents and staff.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the care home team to ensure the smooth running of the home.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience in a similar maintenance role.Strong practical skills and ability to work independently.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
