We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner to lead our Colposcopy Service. As a certified Colposcopist with the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSSCP), you will be responsible for planning and managing complete clinical episodes of care, working in partnership with others to optimise health outcomes and resource use.
Main Duties- Lead the Colposcopy demand and capacity modelling and business planning for the service, working in partnership with the General Manager and Deputy General Manager to inform business planning and service planning with the relevant commissioning bodies.
- Act as a source of expertise and knowledge for patients, carers, and health professionals, as well as other agencies involved in the provision of the Colposcopy Service.
- Plan and manage complete clinical episodes of care, working in partnership with others, delegating and referring as appropriate, to optimise health outcomes and resource use, as well as providing direct support to patients and carers.
We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications and experience:
- Professional registration
- BSSCP certified Colposcopist
- Masters level advanced clinical practice
- Recognised teaching or mentoring qualification
Desirable qualifications and experience include:
- Budget management
- Recognition as an Advanced Practitioner
- Non-medical prescriber
