Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join our team at a reputable school in Welwyn Garden City. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and creating a positive learning environment for a class of well-behaved and motivated students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans to cater to the needs of students.
  • Maintain a well-organized classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of equipment.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Comply with school policies and procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have recent experience as a Year 6 Teacher, preferably in Key Stage 2.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom and behavior management skills.
