Academic Mentor Opportunity

Hewett Academy is seeking an experienced and dedicated Academic Mentor to join our team. As an Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic progress and development of our students.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a tutor, contributing to raising standards of student attainment.
  • Facilitate and encourage a learning experience that provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
  • Share and support the School's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.

Requirements:

  • English Qualification equivalent to Degree level.
  • Qualified Teacher Status would be desirable.
  • Experience of teaching in a secondary Academy.
  • Theory and practice of providing effectively for the individual needs of all students.
  • The monitoring, assessment, recording, and reporting of pupils' progress.
