About Our School

Our school is a Local Authority provision dedicated to supporting secondary-aged pupils with communication and interaction needs. With a focus on primary and functional skill levels, our students learn in a supportive atmosphere that fosters growth and development.

The Role and Responsibilities

As Assistant Headteacher, you will be responsible for leading on behaviour strategies and initiatives across the school. You will work closely with staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupils' individual needs and contribute to the strategic leadership of the school. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils and contribute to the school's ongoing success.

Contract Details: Long-term sickness cover until the end of the academic year (July 2025) with potential for a permanent role starting in September 2025.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEN provision, proven experience working with pupils with communication and interaction needs, and a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies in a SEN setting. We offer a competitive salary of approximately £65,000-£75,000 per annum.
