Job Description

Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics is seeking a highly skilled Senior Test and Equipment Qualification Project Engineer to join our team in Renfrew. As a key member of our Manufacturing, Testing and Qualification function, you will play a crucial role in providing consultancy services to the Oil and Gas, Process, Nuclear, and Renewables sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage and lead large-scale Equipment Qualification (EQ) test programs, including financial and technical governance, data analysis, and report writing.
  • Develop and specify instrumentation and data acquisition test set-ups to meet client requirements.
  • Lead pre-contract negotiations, including client liaison, requirement interpretation, and tender preparation.
  • Design and calculate bespoke test rigs for department contracts.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to successfully complete contracts and set up technical project teams.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Engineering degree and considerable transferrable experience.
  • Experience in structural qualification of components within a relevant sector, instrumentation, and data acquisition.
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their application in a component test environment.
