About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test and Equipment Qualification Project Engineer to join our team at Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics. As a key member of our Asset Management Business, you will play a crucial role in providing consultancy services to the Oil and Gas, Process, Nuclear, and Renewables sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project manage and lead large-scale Equipment Qualification (EQ) test programs, including financial and technical governance, while analyzing data generated from EQ tests.
  • Write reports and technical documents, and provide specifications for instrumentation and data acquisition test set-ups to meet client test program requirements.
  • Lead on all internal stakeholder engagement required to successfully complete contracts, including the setting to work of technical project teams.
  • Develop initial concept designs and calculations for bespoke test rigs required to carry out department contracts.
  • Collaborate with clients to interpret their requirements and prepare winning tenders to meet their needs.
Requirements
  • A relevant Engineering degree and considerable transferrable experience, ideally in structural qualification of components within a relevant sector.
  • Instrumentation and data acquisition experience, and a thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their application within a component test environment.
