Technical Manager - Chemicals

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join our team in Ellesmere Port. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for driving and managing new product development, including regulatory stewardship and providing technical support across the Growing Media Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement new product development strategies to drive innovation and growth in the chemical sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and commercial viability of new products.
  • Lead the formulation and development of new products, including fertilizers, plant protection products, biologicals, adjuvants, plant health, wetting agents, and soil amendments.
  • Develop and maintain long-term product development pipelines and liaise with external partners to ensure successful new product development.
  • Drive innovative technologies across the portfolio for new and existing products.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record as a Senior/Technical Manager in Consumer Goods, with experience in horticulture, agri development, agri chemicals, or household controls.
  • Experience in Growing Media is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Tangible track record in developing innovation and winning new business opportunities.
