Job Summary:

WORKFORCE STAFFING is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver - Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for delivering goods to stores across the UK, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering Goods: Safely transport and deliver goods to stores across the UK, adhering to strict delivery schedules and deadlines.
  • Liaising with Depot Managers and Traffic Office: Communicate effectively with depot managers and traffic office to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Vehicle Checks: Conduct pre-imposed vehicle checks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Manual Handling: Handle palletized goods with care, adhering to manual handling procedures.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with depot managers, traffic office, and other stakeholders.
  • UK Driving License: Hold a valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points for minor offenses.
