About the Role

This Behaviour Mentor position is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills while making a real difference to the lives of SEN students in a secondary school setting. You will be part of a dynamic and supportive environment where you will feel valued as part of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a small group of SEN students in core subjects, ensuring they continue to progress and understand the curriculum
  • Develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and provide tailored support

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology or a relevant field from a top 20 UK University
  • Previous experience working with SEN students is essential
  • Strong communication skills, along with patience and resilience
  • Good behaviour management skills and a solid work ethic
