We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Change Risk Consultant to join our Group Risk & Compliance department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing independent oversight and challenge over the first line's identification, assessment, and management of all risks.
Your focus will be on Technology Change and Systems Development Risk, where you will advise the Board and senior management on strategic planning and decision-making. You will independently oversee and challenge the Group's strategic and business risk profiles and risk appetite assessments, providing a formal independent opinion in relation to significant risks.
You will monitor and report on Group-wide risk exposures compared to risk appetite, conduct risk-based independent assurance, and facilitate risk management activity by supporting risk-related communication and management information flows across the Group.
Additionally, you will promote a strong risk culture and behaviours across the Group, including communications, education, and training.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to be a member of ISACA and hold relevant professional certifications such as CGEIT, CISSP, Prince 2 Foundation/Practitioner, ITIL Foundation, and CRISC.
You will have a strong understanding of systems development methodologies and frameworks, including Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, and DevOps, and how controls and risk management principles can be embedded in their design and operation.
You will also have familiarity with systems development tools and techniques, including integrated development environments, version control systems, continuous integration/continuous development, and project management tools.
Furthermore, you will have a solid understanding of IT Governance and methods for aligning technology change and technology strategy to business objectives and strategy.
You will be able to apply process, risk, and control management and assessment techniques to deliver outcomes for customers, regulators, and the business.
