Cognitive Behaviour Therapist CAMHS Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapist to join our dynamic and committed multidisciplinary team at Flintshire and Wrexham (East) CAMHS. The successful candidate will have a significant role in undertaking assessments and providing evidence-based interventions to children, young people, and families.
Main DutiesThe post holder will be a key member of our team, involved in multidisciplinary meetings, offering consultation and training. They will Care Co-ordinate and provide supervision to colleagues. Involvement in developing and maintaining clinical skills within the wider team and service development will form part of this role. Regular supervision will be provided by an Accredited CBT supervisor.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a broad range of experience in clinical practice, including providing focused Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapies to children and young people with complex mental health needs. They will be able to demonstrate and teach CBT approaches to other professionals and communicate effectively with highly complex psychological problems.
Person SpecificationThe post holder will have a recognised core profession, such as Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or Psychology, and be a BABCP (or equivalent board) Accredited CBT Psychotherapist. A recognised post-graduate, Masters-level qualification in the Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapies is desirable, as is evidence of broad range of evidence-based psychotherapies and further training and development in specific therapeutic CBT approaches.
