A leading manufacturer of machinery and solutions to the food industry is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Engineer to join their UK team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical sales background, with the ability to find new routes to market and build strong customer relationships.

The role involves managing new business development as well as some existing accounts, aiming to hit sales targets while providing top-notch service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Building rapport with clients and understanding their technical needs to provide tailored solutions
  • Splitting time between the office and visiting clients across the UK and Ireland, with regular travel and overnight stays
  • Managing new business development and working closely with internal teams to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth

A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, is on offer, making this an attractive opportunity for a sales professional looking to take their career to the next level.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A strong technical sales background with proven success in technical sales, ideally within machinery or manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to investigate and find potential new routes to market for the company's products
