About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at Biffa. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business practices are in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Reporting: Develop and implement effective compliance strategies to ensure that our business operations are in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop reports to present to stakeholders.
  • Complaints Management: Manage and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement changes to reduce costs and improve productivity.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including business managers and operational teams.
Requirements
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting clearly defined service delivery Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Continuous Improvement: Proven track record of implementing and sustaining continuous improvement initiatives within operational and service environments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in producing and analyzing reports using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with expertise in utilizing Pivot tables and formulas.
  • Business Acumen: Comprehensive understanding of the demands of working within time-sensitive service environments.
  • Communication Skills: Effective influencing and persuasion skills to drive initiatives forward.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills coupled with assertiveness in communication.
  • Time Management: Exceptional time management abilities, adept at working under tight deadlines.
  • Organizational Skills: Organizational prowess with a knack for simplifying complex issues.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset with the capability to measure, monitor, and take corrective action based on data.
  • Communication: Effective communicator across all levels, proficient in both verbal and written communication.
