Robotics Software System Architect

Sagentia Innovation, a global advisory and product development company in Cambridge, UK, is seeking an experienced Robotics Software System Architect to lead the development and implementation of advanced robotic software systems.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robotic software systems for client projects. Your expertise in robotics, software coding, and technical project management will be crucial for successful project delivery.
Main Responsibilities- Lead a project team of software engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Design and develop software applications and algorithms for robotics systems using modern Object Oriented languages (C# and C++) or embedded code (C).
- Collaborate with electronics, mechanical, and systems engineers to integrate software with hardware components and robotics platforms.
- Proven experience in leading software development, with a focus on robotics or autonomous systems.
- Experience designing software for Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and proficiency in modern Object Oriented languages (C#, C++) or embedded code (C).
- Solid understanding of robotics principles, including kinematics, dynamics, and control theory with robotics frameworks and middleware (e.g. ROS2) and digital position controllers.
A competitive salary of £90,000 - £120,000 per annum, bonus, and benefits package, as well as the opportunity to work on diverse and exciting projects.
