Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Planning Specialist to join our client's team in Derbyshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity, and inventory levels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to retailers.
  • Analyze historical sales data and market trends to accurately forecast product demand.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure the availability of raw materials.
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, sales, and quality assurance teams to align production plans with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Generate and present reports on production performance and inventory status.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in planning within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer:

  • A salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
  • A 3 on 3 off shift pattern, plus overtime potential.
