The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Strategic Economic Consultant. As a key member of our water sector team, you will play a critical role in advising clients on strategic economic consultancy services.

The Role

  • You will work closely with sector and subject matter experts to develop a deep understanding of Ofwat's regulatory framework and contribute to the team's water business.
  • You will have opportunities to work in other sectors, primarily energy networks, and build relationships with key clients and advisors.
  • You will advise on high-profile and varied projects, applying a structured strategic approach to problem-solving and drawing on established economic principles.
  • Your work will include report drafting, economic analysis, and engaging with clients.

The Person

  • You will have knowledge of regulatory and planning frameworks for water companies, including price review, WRMP, DWMP, and WINEP.
  • You will bring excellent report writing, Excel, and PowerPoint skills, as well as strong writing and quantitative skills.
  • You will be a highly motivated and ambitious self-starter, willing to take advantage of the opportunities this position offers.
