Project Manager – Renewable Energy (Solar & BESS)

JD Ross Energy is a leading investor owner and operator in the renewable energy sector, with a strong focus on the energy transition.

This business specializes in investing in all stages of a renewable energy project, from early stage development to ready-to-build projects. They have construction-stage projects in the UK and are looking for a Project Manager to support them with their projects. These projects include both Solar and battery energy storage.

The company is building out their UK delivery team to support their projects, and they are seeking professionals with strong Solar/BESS experience.

A project manager will:

  • Work with the senior team to lead the coordination of multiple Solar / BESS based projects.
  • Lead end-to-end project engineering management.
  • Coordinate and manage project resources, including internal team members and external contractors, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define project requirements, technical specifications, and system integration plans for Solar and battery energy storage systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments, monitor project progress, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain and update project plans and manage documentation.
  • Assist the technical team in getting the projects ready for operations.
