We are looking for a talented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Sussex.
About the CompanyOur client is a successful, multi-sited accountancy practice with offices across Sussex, offering a wide range of business advisory and accountancy services.
Job Description:The role involves performing various tasks related to bookkeeping, including processing Trial Balance, preparing and submitting VAT and CIS Returns, and assisting clients with bookkeeping and software queries.
Key Skills and Qualifications:- Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment.
- AAT qualified or currently studying.
- Excellent bookkeeping skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of VAT principles.
- Familiarity with cloud bookkeeping software such as Xero, Sage 50, or QuickBooks.
The ideal candidate will be able to work accurately, efficiently, and effectively in a fast-paced environment. They should possess excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with clients.
The estimated salary for this role is £28,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
