Job Title: Care Service Development Specialist

Estimated Salary: £25,000 + Profit Share Bonus Scheme (part-time, pro rata)

Nurseplus UK Ltd is a leading healthcare provider seeking a skilled Care Service Development Specialist to join our homecare team in Exeter. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and delivering high-quality care services to our service users.

Your main responsibility will be to create and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user. You will also be responsible for assessing their care requirements, updating their plans regularly, and reviewing them as necessary. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with service users, care workers, and other stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess service user needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Conduct risk and manual handling assessments to determine care requirements.
  • Update care plans annually or following significant changes.
  • Review and revise care plans as necessary.
  • Supervise care workers, providing guidance and feedback.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes in consultation with the Branch Manager and Quality Assurance Advisor.
  • Monitor care worker performance through regular quality checks.
  • Liaise with Social Services regarding service users and attend client reviews as needed.
  • Participate in an on-call roster to provide cover for unplanned absences.
