About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and creative Inpatient Activity Coordinator to join our team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As an Inpatient Activity Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering and facilitating activities that promote mental, emotional, and physical health for our inpatients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a wide healthcare team to create individualized activity timetables that meet the needs of our inpatients.
  • Deliver and facilitate 1:1 and group activities that promote physical, mental, and social wellbeing.
  • Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team, including Medical, Nursing, Therapy, and Psychology staff, as well as Wellbeing and Engagement Officers.
  • Develop and implement creative and engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs of our inpatients.
Requirements
  • Experience of facilitating activities or group work.
  • Good knowledge of mental health issues.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate all of our trust values.
  • Driving license (as we have a specialist unit vehicle that we use with our patients and families).
