Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead our project management team in overseeing highway projects efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor project costs, providing regular reports and identifying cost-saving opportunities and evaluating risk.
- Lead the procurement process, evaluating and recommending subcontractors, and managing supplier contracts.
- Evaluate and recommend subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers and manage supplier contracts and relationships.
- Work closely with project managers, highway engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Proficient in conducting quantity take-offs, preparing bills of quantities, and monitoring variations to the contract.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience leading a team throughout a project from start to finish.
- Strong skills in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with the ability to administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- Previous experience in subcontract management.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent relationship building skills, diplomacy, and a willingness to complete the project to a high standard and within the timeframe.
