Job Description

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a highly skilled Electrical SAP Professional to join our team. As an Electrical SAP Professional, you will be responsible for routine maintenance, testing, and remedial work on deployed solar PV systems.

You will also be responsible for complying with company procedures, performing Preventative Maintenance according to the PPM annual plan, and reporting activities performed on site upon any site visit and on a daily basis through the CMMS or manual reports as applicable.

This role requires strong technical competencies, organisational abilities, and a diligent approach to Health and Safety. You must have 5+ years of SAP-level High Voltage work experience, with at least 5+ in the solar sector.

We are looking for someone who is willing to travel flexibly and be available for out-of-hours on-call duties in line with company policy. The successful candidate will hold a 5 Day SMSTS or SSSTS certification and have a deep knowledge of solar ground systems with string inverters.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine maintenance, testing, and remedial work on deployed solar PV systems
  • Compliance with company procedures
  • Preventative Maintenance according to the PPM annual plan
  • Corrective Maintenance as it occurs
  • Reporting activities performed on site
  • Owning risk assessment, analysis, and operational limitations
  • Supervision and coordination of third-party contractors

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of SAP-level High Voltage work experience
  • At least 5+ years in the solar sector
  • HV senior authorised up to 33kV at a minimum
  • Nationally Recognised qualifications in HV operational works
  • Experience in managing operational staff
