Early Years Senior Practitioner for Nursery Expansion

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our dynamic team at Muddy Boots Day Nursery in Langley, Berkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated leader to play a key role in the growth and development of our 90-place nursery.
About the RoleAs Deputy Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Nursery Manager and Director in leading the nursery team and driving the delivery of high-quality childcare and education. You will have a key role in shaping the nursery's vision and strategy, ensuring that we continue to provide exceptional care and learning experiences for our children.
Key Responsibilities- Liaising with the Nursery Manager and Director to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the nursery's goals and objectives.
- Mentoring and coaching staff to ensure they have the skills and confidence to deliver outstanding care and education.
- Leading by example and demonstrating excellent practice in areas such as Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.
- Ensuring that the nursery is well-staffed and resourced to meet the needs of our children, including developing and maintaining effective relationships with external agencies and partners.
- Contributing to the development of the nursery's quality improvement plan, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive excellence in all aspects of nursery life.
- A minimum of Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) and significant experience in a leadership role within an Early Years setting.
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, Safeguarding, and Child Protection policies and procedures.
- An ability to lead, motivate, and inspire others to achieve their best, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders.
