Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist radiographers in preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during radiological examinations.
  • Maintain and operate radiology equipment, ensuring it is clean and functional.
  • Prepare and manage patient records and documentation.
  • Provide excellent patient care and address any concerns or questions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in radiology but not essential and can be within a different speciality.
  • Assistants with experience in other medical fields will also be considered.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
  • Basic knowledge of radiology procedures and equipment is an advantage.
  • Ideally with a UK driving license.
