Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Professional - Radiology Technologist

Estimated Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

  • In this critical role, you will perform a wide variety of radiographic procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and quantity of work in designated areas, collaborating with radiology clients, and effectively communicating with patients.

Responsibilities:

  • You will select the type and number of films to provide diagnostic information required, choosing to deviate from established routines under special circumstances. Your expertise will be utilized to prepare and position patients relative to diagnostic equipment, performing radiographic examinations with a high degree of accuracy and minimizing repeat films.
  • You will maintain cleanliness and orderliness of working areas, ensuring proper operation of radiographic equipment with attention to radiation safety, collimation, shielding, and film identification.
  • As a key member of our team, you will demonstrate professional demeanor towards patients, medical staff, and colleagues, and contribute to effective patient care through clerical and transport duties.

Requirements:

  • A successful completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program is required. An Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred. A valid Massachusetts State license or temporary license and ARRT certification or eligibility within one year are essential.
  • You must possess excellent interpersonal skills to satisfactorily explain examination processes to patients and collaborate effectively with the technical manager.
