Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team at Lawson Property Recruitment. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our client's properties in the Bournemouth area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with tenants on maintenance issues and organise timely repairs.
  • Liaise with tenants on ad hoc tenancy matters.
  • Ensure the timely payment of rents and collection of arrears.
  • Periodically serve notices and attend court proceedings if required.
  • Liaise with utility companies.
  • Deal with deposit returns, disputes and potential deductions.
  • Arrange and oversee maintenance works, including full refurbishments.
  • Conduct regular property visits.
  • Organise estimates for repair or maintenance works on behalf of landlords.
  • Arrange check-in and check-out inventories as needed.
  • Negotiate renewals and prepare the necessary paperwork.
  • Check and approve references.
  • Authorise contractors' invoices.
  • Work with initiative and as part of a team.
