Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our Private Equity, Real Estate and Corporate Services teams. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Act as the main accounting liaison and point of contact for certain clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring that their needs are met.
  2. Work closely with management and junior staff to review work produced for submission to senior level staff, ensuring that it meets the highest standards.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  4. Collaborate with the corporate administrators in the preparation of periodic reports and regulatory reports for the corporate entities.
  5. Provide technical coaching and support to junior staff, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  6. Work closely with the manager to decide and follow up on the planning of the fund accounting workflow process.
  7. Ensure effective cash management of client entities and review of cash reconciliations.
  8. Prepare client entities management accounts and financial statements under UK GAAP or IFRS.
  9. Liaise with tax advisors in respect of ongoing tax compliance responsibilities.

Requirements

  1. You are either a fully or part-qualified accountant, either ACCA or ACA.
  2. You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the fields of funds accounting, corporate services or audit.
  3. You are ambitious with a high level of energy and commitment.
  4. You have excellent communication skills and are able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  5. You are adaptable and able to use appropriate software and systems.
  6. You possess a strong team spirit and the capacity to build strong client relationships.
