About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Yard Supervisor to join our team at SIG plc. As a Yard Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our yard, overseeing the management of our team, and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to our Zero Harm policy and ensure that members of your team act in accordance with these principles.
  • Manage and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they are working safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all tasks and projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity in the yard.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Experience in a supervisory role, with a proven track record of managing a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
  • Hold a valid forklift license (desirable).
