Job Title: Child Support Specialist

We are seeking a Child Support Specialist to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Child Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing students with 1-1 support and attention throughout the school day.

Your primary focus will be on encouraging students to maintain focus and work towards achieving independence and life skills. You will be working alongside the support staff and on-site professionals to develop an understanding of additional needs and how to support children facing challenges while in education.

This is an invaluable opportunity for criminology or psychology graduates looking for an open door into the industry and have an interest in how support and prevention can improve young people's development and keep them on a positive path in society.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1-1 support and attention to students throughout the school day
  • Encourage students to maintain focus and work towards achieving independence and life skills
  • Develop an understanding of additional needs and how to support children facing challenges while in education

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminology or Psychology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum
