Job Description

Job Title: Injection Moulding Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join our team at GI Pro. As an Injection Moulding Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain injection moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic products
  • Monitor production processes to ensure optimum running conditions
  • Perform tool trials and assist with the start-up and shutdown of the extrusion lines
  • Monitor and maintain quality in accordance with specification
  • Use fork truck and manual means to move raw material and finished products
  • Assist other moulding setters and operators to achieve optimum production
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workplace and good housekeeping within the department
  • Measure and record quality checks and monitor product quality
  • Follow and understand operating procedures and setting sheets for moulded products
  • Inform the Production Manager immediately of any breaches of the works rules

Requirements:

  • Experience in injection moulding and plastics manufacturing
  • Knowledge of production processes and quality control
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
