**What will you be doing as an Assembly Operative?**
- Preparing work by examining assembly drawings, bills of materials, and parts lists, gathering necessary components, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- Assembling fixtures according to drawing specifications, securely fastening parts and subassemblies
- Ensuring mouldings and assemblies meet drawing requirements through careful verification
- Notifying the Coordinator or engineering team of any issues encountered during moulding and assembly processes for prompt resolution
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by adhering to established procedures, rules, and regulations
- Documenting all activities by completing production and quality forms
- Utilising computers to access production plans, standard operating procedures, and risk assessments, and providing shift updates to colleagues
- Collaborating within a team-oriented environment to achieve shared goals
- Contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives while prioritising excellent housekeeping practices

**What do you need?**
- Experience working in a manufacturing background (preferably engineering)
- Experienced in working with plastics, plastic mouldings and injection equipment (desirable)
- Computer literacy
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.92-£12.67 per hour
