Senior Staff Nurse ICU Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at The New Private Hospital in Birmingham. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the department and will be responsible for supporting and mentoring the wider team.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of clinical expertise and leadership skills. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and support to patients in the ICU
  • Leading and mentoring the ICU team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
  • Developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid NMC pin and a recognized post-graduate Critical Care Course (30 credits minimum)
  • Cardiac and General ICU experience
  • ALS/ILS training
  • Minimum 2 years ICU experience
