About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Singing for the Brain Support Volunteer. As a volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting people affected by dementia, providing a safe and welcoming environment for them to enjoy music and socialize.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and engaging with people with dementia, helping them to feel at ease and included.
  • Providing encouragement and support to participants during the singing sessions, either online or in person.
  • Working collaboratively with the session facilitator to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.

What We're Looking For

  • A kind and empathetic individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of people affected by dementia.
  • Someone who is comfortable working in a team and can navigate online platforms with confidence.
  • Able to listen actively and provide emotional support to participants.
