About the Role:
GPH Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Childcare Support Worker to join our team in a residential care setting. As a Therapeutic Childcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex emotional and developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people in our care
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, young people, and their families
- Encourage and promote involvement to achieve positive outcomes
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a holistic and therapeutic package
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
Requirements:
- Experience of working with children and young people with complex needs, ideally in a residential setting
- Transferable skills will be considered
- Diploma in Children's Residential or willingness to work towards it
- Over 21 years old
- Valid car driver's license
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £24,797.00 per annum, plus a sleep-in allowance of £75
- A 9-day rota pattern with long days and sleep-ins
- A total OTE salary of £34,197
