Job Title: Finance and Payroll Assistant

Page Personnel Finance is seeking a highly skilled Finance and Payroll Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing the company's invoicing and reconciliations, processing end-to-end payroll for employees, and ensuring compliance with statutory payments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process monthly payroll on Sage Payroll
  • Administer statutory payments, including SSP, SMP, and SPP
  • Manage new starters and leavers, including P45s and P60s
  • Prepare and submit pension payments to HMRC
  • Process purchase and sales ledger transactions
  • Reconcile bank statements and prepare reports
Requirements:
  • Experience processing weekly and monthly payroll
  • Proficiency in Excel and Sage Payroll/Sage 50
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
