Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional to join our team at Valeo Foods. As a Senior HSE Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the deployment of our Health and Safety strategy, delivering on key performance indicators and objectives at our site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all site systems and maintain a safe working environment.
- Investigate accidents and serious incidents, sharing learnings with the team.
- Manage works, contractors, and visitors to ensure safe completion.
- Conduct and validate risk assessments.
- Develop and maintain first aid and personal protective equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with management teams to promote and implement EHS practices.
- Work with HR to ensure Occupational Health provisions are adequate.
- Support EHS training and develop a 'safety culture.'
Requirements:
- Hold the NEBOSH Diploma or higher qualification.
- Experience in a similar role, with proven leadership experience.
- Able to effectively manage people, systems, and processes.
- Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, and risk management.
