About the Role

This permanent position involves managing day-to-day operations, deputising for the Team Manager, and delivering high-quality social work services to promote child welfare.

Key Duties
  1. Work closely with the Team Manager to manage team operations and provide strategic direction.
  2. Develop and implement effective assessment tools to identify the level of need for support/services and/or placements for children and young people.
  3. Establish robust systems for prioritising, allocating, and monitoring workloads to ensure efficient use of resources.
  4. Apply advanced professional knowledge and skills to develop and deliver training programmes to enhance staff performance.
  5. Use managerial performance data (KPI's) to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and drive positive change within the team.
  6. Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to promote collaboration and ensure effective communication.
  7. Develop and maintain a culture of excellence within the team, focusing on continuous improvement and quality enhancement.
